The HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program combines the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance program for homeless veterans with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA provides these services for participating veterans at VA medical centers (VAMCs) and community-based outreach clinics.

The VASH program is designed to assist chronically homeless veterans and their families. The HUD-VASH is funded through a joint collaboration of HUD and the VA. The program is managed and operated by Fort Worth Housing Solutions (FWHS). The VA determines the eligibility and provides referrals to FWHS. This program provides housing for up to 347 veterans.
