Fort Worth Housing Solutions maintains a Housing Choice Vouchers Wait List and awards vouchers to residents on the list as they become available.

FWHS is currently awarding vouchers to individuals on our 2017 Wait List. As soon as the 2017 list is exhausted, FWHS will begin awarding available vouchers to applicants on the 2021 Wait List,  which was compiled through a lottery held in Jnauary 2021.

Applicants not selected for the HCV Wait List are encouraged to look into living at one of our affordably priced apartment communities in Fort Worth.  To apply, contact the property directly. The staff will help you determine if you are eligible and let you know if there is an available unit that meets your family’s income qualifications and needs.
