Mary-Margaret Lemons

Mary-Margaret Spikes Lemons, President, graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in Public Relations.  Throughout college and until enrolling in law school, Ms. Lemons managed public relations for two local chefs, Grady Spears and Tim Love.  Upon graduating from Texas Wesleyan School of Law, she was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Since then, she has advised financial institutions management teams on federal and state banking laws.  The majority of Mary-Margaret’s career has been as in-house counsel for a locally headquartered $1.2 billion bank where she managed the Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, BSA and Vendor Management departments.  Serving as general counsel and corporate secretary, she advised the board and management on legal issues.

Prior to joining Fort Worth Housing Solutions (FWHS), Mary-Margaret was with a boutique law firm specializing in oil and gas while working closely with energy and banking.  Mary-Margaret has served as a director for the Texas Association of Bank Counsel and Tarrant County Women’s Bar Association and is a frequent speaker at Texas A&M School of Law and banking law CLE programs.  Named Alumni of the Year in 2012 by Texas Wesleyan School of Law and one of the ‘40 Under 40’ by the Fort Worth Business Press that same year, her recent activities in the local community include serving as Committee Chair for The W.A.R.M. Place’s 2016 annual gala, a committee member for Cancer Care’s National Cancer Survivor’s Day and a YMCA youth soccer coach.
