FWHS UNITED

Fort Worth Housing Solutions has always been committed to creating, safe, diverse, and affordable communities that provide the foundation our clients need to flourish.

In these historic times, it is important that our clients, partners, and community stakeholders know that we stand with peaceful protestors who demand an end to the injustice that black people endure every day. The senseless killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Atatiana Jefferson, and so many others must be the catalyst for positive change in Fort Worth and across our nation.

Corporately and individually, Fort Worth Housing Solutions is examining what tangible steps we can take to ensure that our agency, services, and housing opportunities are inclusive and serve all members of our community in the best possible way.

We are grateful for the role we are currently playing in deconcentrating poverty and creating affordable housing throughout our city.  We have also continued to make progress in the work we are doing to redevelop the Butler Place and Cavile Place public housing communities so that all residents can thrive with access to high-quality schools, healthcare, healthy food, jobs, and transportation.

To do nothing is to be part of the problem.

We will work toward solutions that help shape a better, more equitable Fort Worth and a nation that cares for all of its people.
